1,100 Kakitangan Lembaga Air Perak (LAP) Terima Bonus Dua Bulan Setengah

IPOH: Seramai 1,100 kakitangan Lembaga Air Perak (LAP) akan menerima bonus dua bulan setengah pada hujung tahun ini.

Menurut Menteri Besar Perak Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, pembayaran bonus itu yang akan dibuat sebelum sambutan Krismas melibatkan perbelanjaan berjumlah RM6.7 juta.

“Bonus ini akan mula dibayar hujung tahun ini kepada semua kakitangan … selewat-lewatnya sebelum sambutan Krismas,” katanya kepada pemberita  selepas mempengerusikan mesyuarat LAP di Ipoh pada Khamis.

Ahmad Faizal juga berkata, kerajaan negeri Pakatan Harapan menggalakkan semua kakitangan LAP menyumbang secara sukarela kepada fakir miskin sebagai tanda menginsafi mereka amat beruntung bertugas dengan lembaga itu berbanding golongan berkenaan.

Beliau turut mengumumkan LAP telah mencatat keuntungan bersih selepas cukai berjumlah RM51.47 juta iaitu peningkatan sebanyak 0.4 peratus.

Katanya, LAP telah mencatatkan jualan air sebanyak RM285.60 juta sehingga 31 Oktober 2018 berbanding tempoh yang sama tahun lalu iaitu RM279.10juta dan merupakan peningkatan sebanyak RM6.5 juta atau 2.3 peratus.

Menurut Ahmad Faizal, bilangan akaun pengguna juga telah meningkat dari 770,545 pada 31 Oktober 2017 kepada 786,271 pada tempoh sama tahun ini dengan peningkatan bersamaan 2.0 peratus.

Selain itu, katanya, LAP telah membelanjakan sebanyak RM1.29 juta bagi Program Penurunan Tarif Air melalui pemberian diskaun kepada semua pengguna domestik mulai 1 Ogos hingga 26 November 2018.

Pada sidang media itu, Ahmad Faizal turut mengumumkan pelantikan tiga ahli lembaga LAP yang baharu yang terdiri daripada Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri, Zainal Azman Abu Seman; Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Kamunting, Dr Muhd Fadhil Nuruddin serta ADUN Pokok Assam, Leow Thye Yih.
