384 Sekolah di Sabah, Selangor Ditutup Mulai Esok

PUTRAJAYA, 7 Okt  (BERNAMA) | Kesemua 384 sekolah di Klang, Selangor dan tiga daerah di Sabah iaitu Sandakan, Papar dan Tuaran yang diklasifikasikan sebagai zon merah COVID-19, akan ditutup bermula esok sehingga 23 Okt ini.

Kementerian Pendidikan (KPM) dalam kenyataan hari ini berkata penutupan itu melibatkan 142 sekolah di Klang dan 242 sekolah di tiga daerah berkenaan di Sabah. 

“Bilangan ini merangkumi sekolah rendah dan menengah di bawah KPM serta sekolah swasta yang berdaftar dengan KPM. Sekolah yang mempunyai asrama termasuk kolej vokasional juga ditutup,” menurut kenyataan itu.

Justeru, ibu bapa atau penjaga pelajar berkenaan dinasihat agar menjemput anak mereka yang tinggal di asrama sekolah dan kolej vokasional terlibat.

Namun, pelajar boleh juga memilih untuk terus kekal berada di asrama sepanjang tempoh penutupan sekolah dan akan berada di bawah penjagaan warden, menurut kenyataan itu.

“Keperluan makan dan minum murid sepanjang menunggu untuk diambil atau yang memilih untuk kekal di asrama akan disediakan oleh pihak sekolah,” menurut kenyataan itu.

KPM memaklumkan dalam tempoh penutupan sekolah itu, pengetua dan guru besar akan memastikan guru serta murid melaksanakan pengajaran dan pembelajaran di rumah mengikut kesesuaian mereka. 

“Manual pengajaran dan pembelajaran di rumah boleh dimuat turun di portal rasmi KPM www.moe.gov.my,” menurutnya.

Sementara itu, bagi sekolah yang sedang melaksanakan peperiksaan percubaan Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) dan terlibat dengan penutupan, boleh menjadualkan semula peperiksaan ke suatu tarikh yang bersesuaian kelak.

 “Sebarang pemakluman berhubung penutupan sekolah bagi daerah-daerah lain akan dibuat dari semasa ke semasa berdasarkan pemantauan dan kerjasama Majlis Keselamatan Negara dan Kementerian Kesihatan,” menurut KPM.

Terdahulu, Menteri Kanan (Kluster Keselamatan) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob mengumumkan penguatkuasaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat (PKPB) di Sandakan, Papar, Tuaran di Sabah dan Klang di Selangor, bermula Jumaat ini susulan peningkatan kes COVID-19 di kawasan tersebut.
