Festival PULARA: Perluaskan Penyertaan Ke Peringkat Sekolah – Ahmad Faizal

Kerajaan negeri Perak akan meneruskan Festival Puisi Lagu Rakyat (PULARA) buat kali ke-9 pada tahun ini walaupun ianya dimulakan oleh pentadbiran kerajaan terdahulu.

“Ia suatu perkara yang amat baik untuk masyarakat dan ianya boleh diteruskan, malah pada kali ini saya mengharapkan festival kali ini dapat diperhebatkan lagi dan diperluaskan sehingga melibatkan anak-anak di peringkat sekolah,” kata Ahmad Faizal dalam satu sidang media di Pejabat Kerajaan Negeri Perak di Ipoh petang ini .

Festival PULARA kali ke-9 ini akan berlangsung dari 28 November hingga 2 Disember 2018. Sebanyak 20 buah negara sudahpun menyatakan pengesahan untuk turut serta dalam festival kali ini. Antara negara tersebut ialah Brunei Darussalam, Singapura, Indonesia, Thailand, Filipina, Bangladesh, India, Jepun, China, Korea Selatan, Turki, Belanda, Jerman, Romania, Mongolia, Perancis, Amerika Syarikat, Timor Leste, Tunisia dan Congo.

“Para peserta juga akan dibawa melawat ke bandar² seperti Kuala Kangsar untuk mengadakan bacaan puisi di sana.

“Selain itu acara bacaan puisi dan persembahan kebudayaan akan turut diadakan di Lata Kinjang Daerah Batang Padang dan Kampung Karyawan Malim Daerah Kampar.

“Persembahan budaya nusantara akan turut diadakan di Dataran Amanjaya,” kata Ahmad Faizal.

Festival PULARA adalah anjuran Kerajaan Negeri tetapi seperti tahun yang lalu, pihak Tourism Perak dan Yayasan Kampung Karyawan Malim akan mengendalikan festival tersebut. Kerajaan negeri Perak akan bekerjasama dengan pihak Yayasan Kampung Karyawan Malim yang telah memulakan inisiatif festival tersebut.

Adalah dijangkakan seramai 500 peserta akan mengambil bahagian dalam festival kali ini.
