KUALA LUMPUR | Harga petrol RON95 dan RON97 naik lima sen seliter, sementara diesel naik tiga sen seliter untuk minggu 19 hingga 25 Disember bermula tengah malam ini.

Menurut kenyataan Kementerian Kewangan hari ini, berdasarkan harga bahan bakar mingguan menggunakan Automated Pricing Mechanism (APM), harga baru seliter petrol RON95 adalah RM1.78, petrol RON97 adalah RM2.08 dan diesel adalah RM1.96.

Kerajaan akan terus memantau tren harga minyak mentah global dan mengambil langkah-langkah yang sesuai untuk memastikan kesejahteraan rakyat yang berterusan, menurut kenyataan itu.

Pada 12 Disember lalu, harga minyak RON95 dan RON97 serta diesel naik 3 sen. Ini merupakan peningkatan sebanyak 3 kali berturut-turut dalam bulan Disember 2020. Harga minyak terus meningkat sejak pertengahn November tahun ini selepas kerajaan mengumumkan beberapa kelonggaran aktiviti perniagaan dan sosial dalam perintah kawalan pergerakan pemulihan (PKPP).
