IPOH | Menteri Besar Perak, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu melarang parti-parti politik sama ada parti pembangkang mahupun kerajaan menggunakan premis kerajaan seperti dewan (orang ramai) bagi tujuan politik.

Sebaliknya beliau berkata, dewan adalah untuk kegunaan orang ramai dan semua rakyat untuk digunakan dengan sebaiknya.

Beliau menjelaskan sememangnya semua premis kerajaan seperti dewan adalah untuk kegunaan orang ramai dan semua rakyat tetapi ia dilarang untuk semua kegiatan politik.

“Saya mengakui, ada sesetengah pihak pembangkang mahupun kerajaan yang tidak mementing nilai-nilai murni di negeri ini, kadang-kadang bila premis itu dibenarkan, mereka telah menyalahgunakannya.

“Kerajaan telah menetapkan syarat bahawa premis-premis kerajaan tidak boleh digunakan untuk tujuan politik dan ini sangat jelas untuk semua parti, ia termasuk parti kerajaan sendiri,” katanya pada sesi penggulungan Sidang DUN Perak, di Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan, Ipoh pada Selasa.

Ahmad Faizal membuat penjelasan itu semasa menjawab celahan, Jamilah Zakaria (BN-Trong) yang mendakwa bahawa pihaknya dilarang daripada menggunakan dewan oleh Majlis Pengurusan Komuniti Kampung (MPKK) bagi program kesihatan.

Beliau yang juga ADUN Chenderiang berkata, tujuan sebegitu sememangnya baik namun menegaskan sebarang program menggunakan premis kerajaan bagi tujuan politik adalah dilarang.

Sehubungan itu beliau menyeru kepada pihak yang ingin menggunakan premis kerajaan supaya menggunakannya dengan tujuan yang baik tanpa menaikkan logo, bendera parti serta isu isu yang menghentam kerajaan dalam aktiviti yang dilakukan.
