IPOH | Ahli Parlimen Gerik, Datuk Hasbullah Osman yang meninggal dunia akibat serangan jantung di Raub, Pahang petang Isnin dijangka akan dikebumikan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam di Kampung Padang, Gerik, hari ini.

Timbalan Ketua UMNO Bahagian Gerik, Datuk Aznel Ibrahim yang juga Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Pengkalan Hulu berkata, persiapan sedang dilakukan untuk membawa jenazah Hasbullah kembali ke Gerik.

“Sekiranya semuanya berjalan lancar, orang-orang kita akan meninggalkan Raub pada pukul 5 pagi dan ketika mereka sampai di Gerik, jenazah akan dibawa ke rumah Hasbullah di Kampung Ulu Kenderong sebelum solat jenazah diadakan di Masjid Jamek diikuti oleh pengebumian, “katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama Isnin malam.

Hasbullah, 63, yang juga Ketua UMNO Bahagian Gerik, disahkan meninggal dunia di Hospital Raub pada jam 7 malam hari ini setelah mengalami serangan jantung kira-kira jam 6.30 petang ketika berada di dalam keretanya.

Pengerusi Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) meninggalkan dua isteri, Datin Rosmawati Arifin dan Zaini Abu Bakar serta lapan anak, dengan anak kelapan – seorang bayi lelaki – dilahirkan pada 9 September tahun ini.
