Kerajaan Negeri Sentiasa Pastikan Tahap Kebersihan Sungai Memuaskan

IPOH: Kerajaan Perak mengambil serius isu pencemaran sungai dengan mengambil langkah pemantauan bagi memastikan sungai-sungai sedia ada berada pada tahap memuaskan.

Menurut Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pendidikan, Teknologi, Sains dan Alam Sekitar, Dr Aziz Bari, setakat ini keadaan sungai-sungai yang terdapat di negeri ini didapati berada dalam keadaan baik.

Malah katanya, terdapat banyak lagi sungai di kawasan pendalaman yang tidak terusik dan cantik boleh dijadikan sebagai destinasi pelancongan.

“Setakat ini sungai-sungai di Perak … ok, kitapun dah rancang untuk tingkatkan lagi tahap kebersihan di sungai-sungai berkenaan.

“Hasil tinjauan di kawasan pendalaman pula, kita dapati masih banyak sungai ini boleh dijadikan sebagai sumber bekalan air,’’ katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan sambutan Hari Guru Peringkat Negeri Perak 2019 di AEON Station 18, Ipoh pada Selasa.

Aziz diminta mengulas insiden pencemaran di Sungai Kim Kim akibat pembuangan sisa bahan kimia di sungai berkenaan baru-baru ini.
