Koronavirus: Singapura Tingkatkan Tahap DORSCON Kepada Jingga

SINGAPURA | Berikutan beberapa kes koronavirus novel tanpa sebarang pautan kepada kes sebelumnya atau sejarah perjalanan ke tanah besar China, Singapura pada hari Jumaat (7 Feb) menaikkan tahap Kondisi Sistem Respon Wabak Penyakit (DORSCON) ke Jingga dari Kuning.

Sekolah-sekolah akan menghentikan aktiviti dalaman dan luaran antara sekolah hingga akhir Mac, kata Kementerian Kesihatan Singapura. Ini termasuk permainan sekolah kebangsaan, kembara pembelajaran dan kem.

Semua sekolah dan guru juga akan terus melaksanakan langkah yang telah diumumkan yang telah diumumkan seperti perhimpunan berasaskan kelas.

“Maklumat baru muncul setiap hari, kami menjangkakan bahawa ini mungkin mengambil masa untuk diselesaikan, mungkin berbulan-bulan, kehidupan tidak boleh terhenti tetapi kita perlu mengambil langkah berjaga-jaga yang perlu dan teruskan kehidupan,” kata Menteri Kesihatan Gan Kim Yong semasa sidang media pada petang Jumaat.

Beliau menambah: “Kami akan melakukan yang terbaik untuk membendung keadaan dan memastikan warga Singapura selamat.”

Cara Singapura menangani wabak seperti koronavirus novel dipandu oleh DORSCON.

Sistem berkod warna – yang mempunyai kategori Hijau, Kuning, Jingga dan Merah – menunjukkan keadaan semasa. Ia juga menunjukkan apa yang perlu dilakukan untuk mencegah dan mengurangkan kesan transmisi.

DORSCON Jingga bermaksud bahawa penyakit itu dianggap serius dan mudah tersebar dari manusia ke manusia, tetapi tidak tersebar luas dan sedang dibendung.
