IPOH, 20 Dis — Kira-kira 200 premis menjual pakaian sekolah di Perak diperiksa Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna (KPDNHEP) Perak sepanjang dua hari tindakan penguatkuasaan pencatutan membabitkan pakaian sekolah, bermula Rabu lepas.

Ketua Pegawai Penguatkuasa KPDNHEP negeri, V. Ravichandran berkata bagaimanapun, setakat ini, tiada kesalahan peningkatan harga tidak munasabah dikenal pasti dan pihaknya tidak menerima sebarang aduan daripada orang ramai mengenai perkara itu.

“Analisa awal menunjukkan tiada kesalahan bagaimanapun kita akan meneruskan pemeriksaan ke atas semua premis perniagaan berkaitan pakaian sekolah.

“Tempoh pelaksanaan pemeriksaan ini bermula Rabu lepas hingga 3 Jan ini dan arahan telah dikeluarkan kepada semua penguat kuasa di Perak untuk meningkatkan pemeriksaan di semua premis terlibat,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas melakukan pemeriksaan tersebut di sebuah pasar raya di sini, hari ini.

Beliau turut mengingatkan peniaga untuk tidak mengambil kesempatan membuat keuntungan berlebihan dan akan mengeluarkan notis di bawah Seksyen 21(2) Akta kawalan Harga dan Antipencatutan 2011 sekiranya berlaku peningkatan sepanjang tempoh pemeriksaan.

Katanya, penguatkuasaan tersebut merangkumi 10 jenis pakaian sekolah termasuk baju kurung, kemeja lengan pendek, seluar panjang, tudung, kasut dan stoking.

“Jika didapati ada kenaikan margin atau keuntungan berlebihan maka tindakan undang-undang akan diambil ke atas peniaga berkenaan,” katanya.
