Lima Syarikat Meterai MoU Bersama InvestPerak Laksana Projek Pelaburan RM1.9 bilion

IPOH: Lima syarikat tempatan telah memeterai memorandum persefahaman (MoU) bersama InvestPerak untuk melaksanakan projek-projek pelaburan bernilai RM1.9 bilion.
Perjanjian kerjasama itu turut melibatkan kerjasama bagi pembekalan gas asli di negeri ini oleh Gas Malaysia Berhad.

Menteri Besar Perak, YAB Ahmad Faizal Azumu berkata, projek berkenaan dijangka diluluskan oleh Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri (Miti) dan Lembaga Pembangunan Pelaburan Malaysia (Mida) pada awal tahun depan.

Beliau berkata, kerjasama itu membabitkan Kerajaan Negeri menerusi InvestPerak dan Smart Paints Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. untuk pembinaan sebuah kilang cat berkualiti di Pusat Industri Bemban dengan pelaburan bernilai RM50 juta.

Perjanjian kerjasama kedua katanya, dengan syarikat Optotronic Semiconductors Sdn. Bhd. untuk pembinaan sebuah kilang pengeluaran lampu LED di Kamunting, Taiping dengan pelaburan bernilai RM50 juta.

Menurut beliau, perjanjian kerjasama seterusnya InvestPerak dan Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) untuk pembinaan sebuah kilang pengeluaran industri makanan-agro di Perak dengan nilai pelaburan RM1.1 bilion.

Ahmad Faizal berkata, InvestPerak dan Central Medicare Sdn. Bhd. turut menjalinkan kerjasama menerusi pembinaan sebuah kilang pengeluaran sarung tangan di Changkat Jong, Teluk Intan dengan nilai pelaburan RM600 juta.

InvestPerak katanya turut menjalin kerjasama dengan Top Glove Berhad untuk membina sebuah kilang pengeluaran sarung tangan di Ipoh dengan pelaburan RM100 juta dan Top Glove Berhad untuk pembekalan gas.

Kesemua MoU tersebut telah ditandatangani oleh wakil syarikat dan disaksikan oleh Timbalan Menteri Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri, Dr.Ong Kian Ming dan Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu pada majlis Makan Malam anjuran InvestPerak di Hotel Casuarina@Meru pada Selasa.
