KUALA LUMPUR | Mahkamah Tinggi Kuala Lumpur hari ini mendapati bekas Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak bersalah terhadap kesemua 7 pertuduhan salah guna kuasa, jenayah pecah amanah dan pengubahan wang haram membabitkan dana bernilai RM42 juta milik SRC International Sdn Bhd (SRC), sebuah anak syarikat 1MDB.

Beliau menghadapi hukuman sehingga 20 tahun penjara, denda dan sebatan. Bagaimanapun beliau akan terkecuali daripada hukuman sebatan berdasarkan kepada faktor usianya 67 tahun.

Hakim Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali yang membaca keputusan berkata pihak pembelaan gagal mewujudkan keraguan yang munasabah dan pihak pendakwaan telah berjaya mewujudkan kes melebihi keraguan yang munasabah.

Keputusan hari ini adalah sebahagian dari puluhan tuduhan lain yang sedang dihadapi oleh Najib termasuk tuduhan salah guna kuasa dana 1MDB bernilai RM2.28 bilion, meminda laporan audit dan pengubahan wang haram milik SRC sebanyak RM27 juta.
