Orang Awam dan Media Dilarang Guna Dron Sepanjang PKP

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) | Semua pihak termasuk pengamal media diingatkan untuk tidak menerbangkan dron di mana-mana lokasi di seluruh negara dalam tempoh pelaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) sehingga 12 Mei ini. 

Ketua Unit Dron Pasukan Gerakan Udara (PGU) Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) Superintenden Rasha Azaldin Shafii berkata tindakan menerbangkan dron tanpa permit daripada Pihak Berkuasa Penerbangan Awam Malaysia (CAAM) adalah salah mengikut Peraturan-Peraturan Penerbangan Awam Malaysia 2016 (MCAR 2016).

“Mereka yang melakukan kesalahan mengendalikan dron tanpa kebenaran boleh dikenakan denda minimum RM50,000 atau tiga tahun penjara bagi individu atau denda maksimum RM100,000 untuk badan korporat. 

“Adalah diingatkan, semua pihak tidak boleh menerbangkan dron sekiranya tidak mendapat permit daripada CAAM dan juga kebenaran pihak polis,” katanya kepada Bernama.

Beliau berkata sepanjang pelaksanaan PKP, pihaknya mengesan empat kes pengendalian dron tanpa kebenaran PDRM serta permit CAAM di seluruh negara. 

“Siasatan lanjut sedang dijalankan berhubung kes ini dan polis bersedia menggunakan alat ‘drone jammer’ bagi memastikan tiada pihak yang menerbangkan dron tanpa kelulusan di mana-mana lokasi,” katanya.

Rasha Azaldin berkata penggunaan dron dilakukan khusus untuk membuat pemantauan udara di seluruh negara termasuk di kawasan yang dikuatkuasakan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Diperketatkan (PKPD).

“Penggunaan teknologi dron sememangnya berkesan terutama dalam aspek memberi hebahan dan peringatan sepanjang tempoh PKP bagi mengekang wabak COVID-19,” katanya. 

Pada 7 April, CAAM telah membenarkan PDRM menerusi Unit Dron PGU mengendalikan “unmanned aircraft system (UAS)” atau dron bagi tujuan pemantauan dan penguatkuasaan semasa PKP. 

CAAM turut memaklumkan operasi dron itu diketuai PDRM dengan kerjasama Angkatan Tentera Malaysia dan tiga syarikat dron swasta.
