PAS Anjur Iftar Bersama Bukan Muslim Didik Hargai Keamanan

Gopeng | Lajnah Perpaduan Nasional (LPN) Dewan Muslimat PAS negeri Perak bersama PAS Gopeng telah mengadakan majlis Iftar Muhibbah yang dihadiri masyarakat dari pelbagai latarbelakang agama di Wisma Purnama, Lahat pada Selasa.

Menurut Pengarah Iftar, Farah Foo Wai Yee, tujuan program diadakan adalah untuk memperkenalkan cara-cara kehidupan Muslim dan membina sikap saling memahami serta hidup harmoni dalam masyarakat berbilang kaum dan agama di negara ini.

“Keamanan dan keharmonian adalah salah satu asas dalam Islam kerana ia adalah sifat semualajdi manusia mahu hidup aman dan harmoni.

“Keamanan membantu ekonomi berkembang dan meningkatkan kesedaran,” katanya.

Pengerusi LPN PAS Pusat, Dr Najihahtussolehah Ahmad berkata dalam tempoh 9 tahun tertubuhnya LPN, pelbagai aktiviti dan kempen telah dianjurkan bagi memperkenalkan Islam kepada bukan Muslim.

“Program murni seperti ini dapat mengeratkan silaturahim, selain mengikis sentimen perkauman dan keagamaan membabitkan pengikut dan penganut pelbagai agama,” ujar Najihah.

Yang DiPertua PAS Kawasan Gopeng, Ustaz Abu Bakar Hussien berkata, program ini menunjukkan keterbukaan pemimpin PAS Perak untuk bersama-sama melakukan perkara yang baik lagi bermanfaat.

“Perpaduan dan saling mengenali serta menghormati mampu menyatukan kita, manakala perbalahan hanya membawa keburukan,” kata Ustaz Abu Bakar.

 

Turut berucap adalah Pengerusi Dewan Himpunan Penyokong PAS (DHPP) Pusat, Balasubramaniam Nachiappan. Dalam ucapannya, Balasubramaniam mengakui hubungan PAS dengan bukan Muslim bertambah baik sejak tertubuhnya DHPP.

Majlis Iftar Muhibbah ini dihadiri lebih 100 orang termasuk 45 dari kalangan bukan Muslim.

Turut hadir di majlis ini ialah wakil dari NGO Multiracial Reverted Muslims (MRM), Robert Ta Honn Yu atau Ahmad Hafizh Amiruddin Ta Abdullah, Ketua DHPP Perak, Surianarayanan Sannasy Naidu dan Ketua Wanita DHPP, Punidha @ Pachaiamma Subramaniam.

Tidak ketinggalan kanak-kanak dari pelbagai kaum turut menceriakan majlis ini.
