Waktu operasi restoran dan kedai runcit telah diperpanjang, kata Menteri Kanan Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob

Menurut Menteri Kanan itu, premis-premis itu sekarang boleh dibuka hingga 2 pagi.

Pengumuman oleh Ismail Sabri dilakukan melalui tweet oleh pemegang Twitter rasmi Menteri Kesihatan (KKM) awal hari ini, 10 September.

Waktu tambahan yang baru akan dibenarkan mulai Jumaat, 11 September

Menurut Ismail Sabri, Majlis Keselamatan Nasional (MKN) memutuskan untuk memperpanjang waktu operasi setelah menerima aduan banyak pengendali perniagaan yang mengadu kekurangan pendapatan.

“Banyak aduan, terutama di tempat-tempat pelancongan seperti Langkawi. Mereka terpaksa ditutup pada pukul 12 pagi dan kerana tidak ada hiburan, mereka hanya boleh makan,” kata Ismail semasa taklimat keselamatannya pada Khamis, 10 Sep.

“Pengendali ini bertanya kepada kami jika kami dapat memperpanjang masa untuk beroperasi dan kami bersetuju. Namun, ini bukan hanya untuk Langkawi tetapi juga untuk semua tempat,” tambahnya.
