KUALA KANGSAR: Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah berkenan menerima zakat perniagaan daripada 12 badan korporat berjumlah lebih RM14 juta. Syarikat berkenaan adalah Lembaga Tabung Haji Perak RM3.967,179.16; Plus Malaysia Berhad (RM3.677,019); Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (RM3 juta); Perbadanana Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Perak (SSI) RM1.280,495.20.

Maybank Islamic Berhad berjumlah RM648,181.47; Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (RM373,249.96); Idaman Pharma Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (RM300,000); RHB Islamic Bank Berhad (RM250,000).

Bank Mualamat Malaysia Bhd RM223,486.03; Etiqa Family Takaful Berhad (RM132,000); Aiman Asset Management Sdn Bhd (RM113,000) dan Affin Islamic Bank Berhad RM100,000.
Semua penyerahan zakat dilakukan sempena Majlis Berbuka Puasa bersama Media, NGO, sektor korporat, swasta, syarikat berkaitan kerajaan (GLC) dan belia di Istana Iskandariah.

Baginda diiringi Raja Permaisuri Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim.Hadir sama, Menteri Besar, Ahmad Faizal Azumu serta isteri, Dr Nomee Ashikin Mohammed Radzi dan Yang Dipertua Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak (Maipk), Tan Sri Dr Wan Mohd Zahid Mohd Noordin.

Sultan Nazrin turut berkenan menganugerahkan watikah pelantikan anggota Maipk kepada Exco Agama dan Pendidikan Islam, Industri, Luar Bandar dan Pembangunan Usahawan, Asmuni Awi serta Orang Besar Jajahan Bagan Datuk, Prof Dr Khalid Ismail.
