Tiga Premis Makanan di Pulau Pinang Diarah Tutup Kerana Langgar SOP

GEORGE TOWN | Tiga pusat makanan dan minuman di sini diperintahkan untuk ditutup selama satu minggu kerana melanggar prosedur operasi standard (SOP) untuk pencegahan wabak.

Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP), dalam satu kenyataan yang dikeluarkan kepada New Straits Times, mengatakan pemeriksaan oleh pegawainya menunjukkan bahawa tidak ada jarak fizikal di ketiga-tiga premis tersebut.

“Oleh sebab itu, kami memerintahkan ketiga-tiga premis ditutup selama satu minggu bermula hari ini hingga Sabtu depan (29 Ogos).

“Tindakan diambil di bawah Akta Pencegahan dan Pengawalan Penyakit Berjangkit 1988 (Akta 342) terhadap pengusaha ketiga-tiga premis itu,” katanya.

MBPP itu juga mengatakan dua premis lain – sebuah restoran di Jalan Transfer dan satu lagi rangkaian kedai francais di Jalan Burma – masing-masing diberikan notis dan amaran terakhir untuk masalah kebersihan serta kerana melanggar SOP.

“Kami menasihatkan semua premis di pulau ini untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan mereka terhadap SOP.

“Untuk ketiga-tiga premis tersebut, mereka akan dibenarkan beroperasi setelah pemantauan dan penilaian semula oleh Majlis, untuk melihat apakah mereka dapat mematuhi syarat yang ditetapkan,” tambahnya.
