Warga MB Inc. Siapkan Sendiri Makanan Untuk Gelandangan dan Agensi Perkhidmatan 24 Jam

Warga kerja Perbadanan Menteri Besar Perak (MB Inc.) melalui Kelab Sukan & Rekreasi kakitangan (Kelab CRESTERS) telah mengadakan satu program dinamakan ‘Singgah Sahur’ dimana 50 ahli kelab turun padang mengagihkan sumbangan makanan yang disediakan sendiri oleh mereka untuk golongan gelandangan dan agensi perkhidmatan yang beroperasi 24 jam di sekitar Bandaraya Ipoh subuh tadi.

Program bermula dari jam 1:00 pagi hingga 6:00 pagi dimana pihak kelab telah mengenalpasti tempat² yang biasa dihuni oleh golongan gelandangan beberapa agensi yang menyediakan perkhidmatan masyarakat 24 jam. Ia melibatkan 6 kawasan di sekitar bandar.

Menurut Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif MB Inc., Anuar Zainal Abidin., program ini diadakan dengan harapan dapat berkongsi merasai makanan yang disediakan sendiri oleh warga kerja MB Inc.

“Kita bukan saja menumpukan perhatian terhadap pekerjaan semata-mata, kita juga ingin mengambil peranan berkongsi bersama nikmat (makanan) di dalam hidup bermasyarakat,” kata Anuar.

Selain mengedarkan makanan kepada gelandangan, ahli kelab juga turut singgah di beberapa agensi yang beroperasi 24 jam kepada masyarakat seperti Balai Polis dan Balai Bomba di sekitar Manjoi, Jelapang dan Bandar Meru Raya.

“Selain itu, kita juga akan melawat balai polis dan balai bomba untuk turut bersama-sama dengan mereka yang bertugas di waktu awal pagi sebegini dan berharap dengan adanya ‘engagement’ (pertemuan) seperti ini di antara pegawai² kerajaan dengan pekerja MB Inc. dapat merapatkan lagi silaturrahim sesama kita,” menurut Anuar.

Muhammad Nurhafizi Bahrin

Menurut Presiden Kelab CRESTERS, Muhammad Norhafizi Saiful Bahrin, ini merupakan kali ke-2 mereka mengadakan program yang sama. Kali pertama diadakan 2 tahun lepas.

“Beza program kali ini berbanding program yang lepas, kali ini kita ada penambahan iaitu selain fokus kepada golongan gelandangan, kita juga akan melawat agensi-agensi yang beroperasi 24 jam,” kata Norhafizi.
