INDEPENDENT BERMAKSUD ‘MERDEKA’

Independent.my adalah portal media bebas di Malaysia khususnya di Perak. Kami adalah non-partisan dan didedikasikan untuk melaporkan kebenaran.

Kami bebas daripada pengaruh mana-mana kerajaan, pertubuhan atau parti politik-inilah yang membuat kami berbeza daripada organisasi media lain. Matlamat kami adalah untuk membawa maklumat yang tepat supaya pembaca boleh membentuk pandangan mereka sendiri mengenai topik yang paling penting pada masa kini.

Kami tidak mengikuti trend yang tidak sihat mengenai kewartawanan yang dipacu agenda tertentu yang lazim dalam persekitaran media hari ini.

Sebaliknya, kami menggunakan prinsip-prinsip Kebenaran dan Tradisi sebagai panduan. Kami menyerlahkan dalam pelaporan kami tentang kemanusiaan yang terbaik, pelajaran berharga mengenai sejarah, dan tradisi yang bermanfaat untuk masyarakat.

Independent.my diasaskan di Ipoh, Perak pada tahun 2018 sebagai respon kepada janji-janji kebebasan media di era Malaysia Baharu. Pengasas kami, wartawan yang pernah bekerja di bawah tekanan untuk memenuhi agenda pihak tertentu, berusaha untuk mewujudkan media baru yang bebas dan memberikan maklumat yang benar.
