IPOH: Semua tanah rizah Melayu yang diambil bagi tujuan pembangunan di negeri Perak akan diganti.

Menteri Besar, Ahmad Faizal Azumu menjelaskan langkah diambil kerajaan untuk memastikan semua tanah rizab Melayu diganti memandangkan jumlah semasa keseluruhannya masih belum mencukupi untuk memenuhi Wasiat Raja-Raja Melayu yang menetapkan ia mestilah tidak kurang daripada 50 peratus.

Menurut beliau, ketika ini jumlah keseluruhan tanah rizab Melayu di negeri Perak ialah 970,000 hektar dan jumlah itu baru meliputi 46 peratus daripada keseluruhan keluasan negeri Perak iaitu 2.1005 juta hektar.

Katanya, antara langkah yang dicadang untuk meningkatkan jumlah rizab ini ialah dengan mewartakan semua tanah di bawah Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak termasuk tanah wakaf, tanah masjid, surau dan pejabat agama sebagai tanah rizab Melayu.

“Langkah ini dijangka akan menambahkan 85,000 hektar jumlah tanah rizab Melayu di Perak.

“Pada masa sama, kerajaan negeri akan menambah bilangan tanah rizab ini dengan mengambil alih tanah hutan simpan dan tanah lapang di bawah Seksyen 5 Enakmen Rizab Melayu Perak.

“Kerajaan negeri bercadang menambah baik perkara ini dengan memastikan proses disegerakan dan memenuhi tujuh kriteria yang telah ditetapkan, khususnya dari aspek keluasan dan memenuhi ciri-ciri tanah rizab yang dibangunkan,” kata Faizal semasa menggulung perbahasan titah Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah dalam Sidang Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Perak di Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan, Ipoh pada Isnin.
