KUALA LUMPUR,1 Dis — Polis masih menyiasat dakwaan terdapat satu perjumpaan serta perhimpunan dipercayai membabitkan bekas ahli Parti Komunis Malaya (PKM) yang diadakan di Kajang, hari ini.

Ketua Polis Daerah Kajang, ACP Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof berkata tiada sebarang laporan dibuat mana-mana pihak namun pihaknya mengambil maklum akan perkara berkenaan.

“Maklumat mengenai penganjuran perhimpunan itu berjaya diperolehi. Ia dilaporkan telah berlangsung secara tertutup dan pihak polis masih dalam tindakan menyiasat segala aspek berkenaan berlangsungnya penganjuran itu,” katanya ketika dihubungi.

Sebuah portal berita melaporkan, kira-kira 300 orang telah menghadiri perjumpaan dan perhimpunan yang dipercayai melibatkan bekas ahli PKM itu di Kajang, pagi tadi.

Perjumpaan itu difahamkan sebagai memperingati ulang tahun ke-30 Perjanjian Damai Hatyai yang ditandatangani antara Kerajaan Malaysia dan PKM pada 2 Dis 1989.
