IPOH | Indeks pencemaran udara di Bandaraya Ipoh masih lagi tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda semakin baik apabila bacaan Indeks Pencemaran Udara yang dicatatkan di Tasek pada pukul 8 pagi ini ialah 164.

Tindjauan wartawan Independent ke Bandaraya Ipoh pagi ini menunjukkan keadaan jerebu makin teruk di mana jarak penglihatan yang terhad. Gunung-ganang di sekitar Bandar Ipoh tidak lagi kelihatan akibat diiputi jerebu. Matahari pula kelihatan ‘segan silu’ untuk menunjukkan dirinya kerana keadaan berjerebu yang tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda semakin baik.

Walaupun begitu, orang ramai yang tidak menghiraukan keadaan itu tetap berpusu-pusu menuju ke pusat bandar terutama di pasar karat yang diadakan setiap hari Ahad.

Mereka yang ke pasar basah berdekatan RTC setiap hari kerana rutin harian tidak ada pilihan lain selain mendapatkan bahan-bahan mentah untuk hidangan di restoran dan sebagainya.
