Presiden PKR, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dalam satu sidang media tergempar tengahari tadi mengumumkan mempunyai cukup majoriti untuk menubuhkan kerajaan persekutuan.

Beliau semasa sidang media di ibu negara itu berkata status Perdana Menteri Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin jatuh selepas jumlah sokongan yang diterima lebih dari cukup untuk mengambil alih kerajaan.

Katanya lagi, majoriti yang diperolehi adalah bukannya tipis.

“Bukan, empat, lima atau enam (kerusi) tetapi majoriti,” katanya

Beliau juga berkata ahli parlimen yang menyokongnya terdiri daripada pelbagai parti.

Beliau memberi jaminan bahawa dia ada dokumen tetap yang tidak boleh diragui bagi membuktikan bahawa dia kini mempunyai majoriti untuk menubuhkan kerajaan baru.

Angka sebenar sokongan hanya akan diberikan selepas dia mengadap Yang di-Pertuan Agong yang sekarang berada di Institut Jantung Negara.
