IPOH: Bekas Naib Presiden Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (BERSATU) Datuk Hamidah Osman mengumumkan menyertai Parti Bumiputera Perkasa Malaysia (PUTRA) yang dipimpin veteran politik Datuk Ibrahim Ali.

Katanya, beliau akan terus berjuang untuk rakyat melalui landasan politik yang baharu . 

“Saya akan terus berjuang dan bekerja untuk rakyat menerusi platform politik yang baharu, sebaliknya bukan hanya bermain politik untuk meraih keuntungan.

“Kena faham tindakan saya bertukar parti bukan disebabkan jawatan, kedudukan atau material, sebaliknya berasaskan keadaan tertentu,” katanya kepada pemberita di rumahnya di Batu Gajah, pada Isnin.

Sebelum bersama Bersatu, Hamidah pernah menjadi ketua penerangan Wanita UMNO dan adalah bekas pengerusi Portfolio Pelaburan, Industri, Pembangunan usahawan, Pelancongan dan Wanita negeri Perak.

PUTRA baru ditubuhkan Jumaat lalu oleh Datuk Ibrahim Ali. Beliau mengumumkan parti baru itu ditubuhkan atas alasan hal-hal berkaitan bumiputera “dalam keadaan yang cukup bercelaru”.
