IPOH: Kerajaan Perak memberi suntikan semangat dengan menjanjikan insentif RM15,000 kepada setiap pemain dalam skuad The Bos Gaurus sekiranya berjaya menempah tempat ke peringkat akhir Piala Malaysia.

Katanya, suntikan semangat yang diberikan kerajaan negeri mesti disambut para pemain untuk membawa pulang piala tersebut yang diidam-idamkan selama 17 tahun itu.

Menurut beliau, selain kesebelasan utama, kerajaan negeri juga akan memberi insentif kepada pemain-pemain yang duduk dibangku simpanan jika Perak berjaya ke final namun, jumlah nilainya berbeza.

Ditanya sumbangan peribadinya yang berkemungkinan akan turut diberi kepada beberapa pemain terbaik, Ahmad Faizal berkata ia akan dilakukan sebagaimana kepada kejayaan pasukan bola sepak negeri dalam temasya Sukan Malaysia (Sukma) Perak 2018 yang lalu.

“Seperti yang saya lakukan kepada pasukan bola sepak Sukma, saya ada memberikan insentif peribadi kepada penjaring gol.

“Untuk kali ini juga, saya akan juga berikan insentif peribadi. Ia bukan daripada kerajaan negeri ataupun Persatuan Bola Sepak Perak (Pafa).

“Jika kita lihat penjaga gol, pertahanan mahupun pemain-pemain lain berjaya mempertahankan gol daripada dibolos, saya akan beri sumbangan insentif peribadi,” katanya.

Ahmad Faizal berkata demikian kepada pemberita pada masjlis makan tengah hari bersama pemain-pemain bola sepak Perak, di Perak Royal Golf Club, Ipoh pada Khamis. Hadir sama, Presiden PAFA, Hasnul Zulkarnain Abd Munaim.

Terdahulu dalam ucapannya, Ahmad Faizal berharap semua anak didik Mehmet Durakovic dapat memberikan persembahan yang terbaik menentang Sabah di Shah Alam Ahad ini.

“Atas usaha semua, kita berjaya masuk ke peringkat separuh akhir. Namun saya tidak berpuas hati, saya mahu kita ke final,” katanya.

Perak berjaya mara ke peringkat akhir selepas berjaya menumpaskan PKNS FC 2-0 pada aksi suku akhir kedua di Shah Alam baru-baru ini.
