PUTRAJAYA | Sebanyak 69 kes baru koronavirus di Malaysia direkodkan hari ini – jumlah yang terendah sejak Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan dilaksanakan.

Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata jumlah kes yang telah sembuh melebihi jumlah kes positif baru iaitu sebanyak 201 kes. Ini menjadikan kes sembuh dan dibenarkan pulang sebanyak 2,967 – 56.5 peratus dari jumlah kes keseluruhan.

Bagaimanapun, terdapat 2 lagi kes kematian dilaporkan pada hari ini iaitu mangsa masing-masing lelaki berusia 84 dan 85 tahun. Kedua-duanya mempunyai sejarah kontak rapat dengan kes positif koronavirus di dalam negara.

Kes yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Intensif juga telah berkurang kepada 51 dan daripada jumlah itu, 26 memerlukan alat bantuan pernafasan.
