IPOH | Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Perak hari ini tampil membuat laporan polis terhadap satu dakwaan di media sosial yang mengatakan UMNO negeri Perak telah membayar sebanyak RM7.5 juta bagi tujuan mendapatkan sokongan untuk menjadi Menteri Besar Perak.

Ketua Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Bahagian Tambun, Faridzul Azlan bin Abdul Sani berkata kenyataan yang dibuat itu adalah palsu, fitnah berunsur jelik terhadap pertubuhan politik UMNO negeri Perak termasuk kepimpinan tertinggi UMNO Perak.

“Saya percaya ia berniat jahat, provokatif mencetuskan persepsi negatif dan boleh mengganggu proses pemilihan menteri besar Perak oleh Ke Bawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Sultan Perak.

“(Ia) menambah kegusaran rakyat serta menimbulkan pandangan jelik terhadap UMNO dan pemimpin UMNO serta Muafakat Nasional negeri Perak,” katanya.

Wartawan Independent dimaklumkan satu hantaran di laman Facebook mendakwa terdapat sogokan dan tawaran melibatkan wang sebanyak RM7.5 juta seorang untuk membeli ADUN-ADUN dalam isu perlantikan menteri besar Perak. Hantaran tersebut telah disunting kemudiannya.

Menurut Faridzul, ini adalah tuduhan yang serius terhadap UMNO dan pemimpin UMNO Perak dan sewajarnya pihak PDRM dan SKMM membuat siasatan segera dan menyeluruh terhadap pemilik akaun Facebook atau Editor berkenaan.

Laporan polis itu dibuat di Balai Polis Sungai Senam pada petang tadi (11 Mac) yang turut disertai tidak kurang dari 12 orang Ketua Pemuda UMNO Bahagian di negeri Perak.
