KUALA LUMPUR | Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Diperketatkan (PKPD) di Zon B dan Zon C Taman Meru 2C di Ipoh, Perak akan dilanjutkan selama tujuh hari lagi dari Jumaat (4 Dis) hingga 10 Disember, kata Menteri Kanan (Keselamatan) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Beliau berkata ini kerana mereka masih belum menerima keputusan untuk baki sampel pemeriksaan COVID-19.

“Kerajaan sebelumnya menempatkan wilayah-wilayah ini di bawah PKPD dari 20 November hingga 3 Dis. Kementerian Kesihatan (KKM) telah melakukan 1,793 ujian dan 66 kes positif telah dicatat di zon tersebut.

“Berdasarkan nasihat dan penilaian risiko yang dilakukan oleh KKM, mesyuarat (Majlis Keselamatan Negara) hari ini bersetuju untuk menyambung PKPD di kawasan-kawasan ini,” katanya pada sidang media harian mengenai perkembangan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) disini hari ini.

Dalam perkembangan lain, Ismail Sabri berkata, kerajaan telah menguatkuasakan Akta Perumahan dan Kemudahan Minimum Pekerja 1990 (Akta 446) dengan mengambil tindakan terhadap majikan yang gagal menyediakan kemudahan perumahan seperti yang termaktub di bawah Akta tersebut.

Beliau menjelaskan bahawa setelah pemeriksaan yang dilakukan oleh Kementerian Sumber Manusia mengenai masalah tersebut, sebanyak 21 kertas siasatan telah dibuka.
