RM1.1b Diperuntuk Untuk Laksana Projek Kementerian Kerja Raya Sarawak

SARIKEI | Kerajaan memperuntukkan RM1.102 bilion untuk melaksanakan projek Kementerian Kerja Raya yang baru dan sedia ada di Sarawak tahun ini, kata Menteri Kerja Raya, Baru Bian.

Ini merupakan sebahagian daripada RM6.17 bilion peruntukan yang diluluskan untuk kementerian apabila Bajet 2020 dibentang tahun lepas.

“Salah satu projek baru ialah Projek Jalan Raya Flyway Tunnel-Jalan Tun Hussein RM153 juta di Bintulu. Kerja-kerja projek itu dijangka dimulakan pada suku keempat tahun ini, “katanya selepas pelancaran kerja-kerja menaik taraf Jalan Kampung Seberang di sini hari ini.

Menurutnya lagi, projek utama lain termasuk menaik taraf Jalan Datuk Musa dari KM8 ke Roundabout Samarahan yang dianggarkan sebanyak RM243 juta dan pembinaan jalan masuk ke bahagian selatan Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuching dengan kos RM129.7 juta.

Di samping itu, tiga projek untuk menggantikan jambatan Batang Undop di Seri Aman dan dua jambatan penuaan lain di Sungai Semanju dan Sungai Lemanak di Lubok Antu dijangka dilaksanakan tahun ini.
