Kuantan | Skim Perlindungan Kesihatan B40 akan bermula esok, menurut Timbalan Menteri Kesihatan, Dr. Lee Boon Chye.

Skim itu akan memberi faedah kepada 800,000 penerima Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) berumur 50 dan ke atas melibatkan peruntukan sebanyak RM100 juta.

“Empat manfaat yang menanti penerima ialah pemeriksaan kesihatan untuk hipertensi, diabetes, masalah buah pinggang dan kolesterol, alat bantuan perubatan seperti lensa buatan untuk merawat katarak, kerusi roda dan alatan pendengaran.

“Insentif ini turut meliputi bantuan untuk menyelesaikan rawatan kanser dan insentif tambang pengangkutan sebanyak RM500 untuk pesakit di Semenanjung dan RM1,000 bagi mereka di Sabah dan Sarawak untuk mendapatkan rawatan di hospital atau klinik awam,” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian kepada wartawan selepas usai merasmikan ‘Karnival Koi Nak Sihat 2019’ di Wisma Belia Indera Mahkota hari ini.

Sebanyak 423 klinik swasta telah berdaftar untuk skim itu setakat 12 April.
