Air Asia Lancar Penerbangan Sulung Dari Johor Bahru Ke Ipoh

IPOH: AirAsia hari ini melancarkan penerbangan sulung dari Johor Bahru ke Ipoh dalam usaha menggalakkan kehadiran ramai pelancong dan mengembangkan sektor ekonomi melalui pelancongan di negeri Perak.

Penerbangan sulung membawa 180 penumpang yang tiba di Lapangan Terbang Sultan Azlan Shah (LTSAS) pada jam 8.40 pagi tadi disambut oleh Menteri Besar Perak Ahmad Faizal Azumu dan ketua Eksekutif AirAsia Malaysia, Riad Asmat.

Turut hadir Pengarah AirAsia, Datuk Aziz Bakar, Exco Pelancongan Tan Kar Hing dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Tourism Perak, Zuraida Md Taib.

Menurut Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif AirAsia Malaysia, Riad Asmat, Ipoh merupakan laluan domestik AirAsia ke-17 dan laluan ke-16 dari hab Johor Baharu yang disediakan empat kali kekerapan penerbangan seminggu untuk para pengguna penerbangan laluan tersebut.

“Kami berbesar hati melancarkan perkhidmatan penerbangan terus ke Ipoh, pelancaran laluan ini adalah usaha AirAsia terus mengembangkan laluan perjalanan dan mahu lebih agresif memperluaskannya melibatkan laluan Johor-Bahru,” katanya kepada pemberita di LTSAS, Ipoh pada Isnin.

Riad berkata, turut dilancarkan hari ini penerbangan Johor Bahru-Alor Setar melibatkan empat kali kekerapan penerbangan.

“AirAsia berharap penerbangan ini akan mengalakkan kehadiran pelancong ke negeri ini dan komited mengembangkan sektor pelancongan serta mengembangkan sektor ekonomi melalui pelancong malah peluang pekerjaan.

“Pastinya kami ingin bekerjasama rapat dengan pihak Tourism Perak, agensi kerjaaan dan swasta bagi meningkatkan perkhidmatan penerbangan ke Ipoh kelak,” katanya.
Riad turut mensasarkan 80 peratus pengguna pengguna laluan domestik yang menunjukkan perkembangan positif dari semasa ke semasa.
