IPOH: Datuk Seri Mohamad Azmin Ali menyerahkan kebijaksanaan anggota parti untuk menentukan kedudukannya dalam mempertahankan jawatan sebagai Timbalan Presiden PKR pada pemilihan parti itu nanti.

Beliau yang akan dicabar oleh Naib Presiden PKR, Rafizi Ramli optimis dapat mempertahankan jawatannya bersandarkan laporan “report card” yang memperlihatkan prestasi beliau dalam parti selama ini.

“Saya menyerahkan pada kebijaksanaan anggota parti…Saya kira “report card” saya dapat menjelaskan perkara sebenar dan terpulanglah kepada anggota parti untuk menentukan masa depan parti.

“Ini membuktikan demokrasi dalam Keadilan cukup utuh dan kuat, kita menyambut baik mana-mana anggota parti yang ingin menawarkan khidmat kepada parti.

“Saudara sendiri melihat perhimpunan pakatan ini melibatkan semua anggota dan saya sering mengambil sikap yang inklusif untuk memastikan anggota parti dapat diberikan kepimpinan terbaik dengan perpaduan di kalangan pimpinan anggota parti,” katanya.

Azmin berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan Majlis Perasmian Serentak Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan Cabang (MATC) 2018 negeri Perak di Hotel Kinta Riverfront, di sini pada Ahad.

Beliau juga yakin terhadap kepimpinan Presiden Parti, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim yang akan disahkan dalam kongres parti dan optimis PKR akan kekal sebagai parti yang relevan kepada pembangunan parti.

Mengulas lanjut mengenai pemilihan parti, katanya pemilihan itu merupakan proses biasa yang diadakan setiap tiga tahun. Menurut Azmin, sebagai sebuah parti yang matang beliau yakin anggota parti akan berpegang kepada amalan demokrasi yang tertib.
