KUALA LUMPUR (BERNAMA) | Kementerian Pertahanan (Mindef) dan Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN) masing-masing diperuntukkan RM16 bilion dan RM17 bilion dalam Belanjawan 2021.

Menteri Kewangan Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz berkata bagi memastikan kesiapsiagaan aset-aset utama Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM), peruntukan penyelenggaraan dinaikkan kepada RM2.3 bilion tahun hadapan berbanding RM2 bilion tahun ini.

Selain itu, dalam menangani jenayah siber yang kian meningkat, beliau berkata sebanyak RM27 juta diperuntuk kepada CyberSecurity Malaysia untuk meningkatkan kawalan keselamatan siber negara.

“Kerajaan sentiasa memastikan kebajikan anggota tentera tidak terabai. Selain terus menyelenggara kemudahan Rumah Keluarga Angkatan Tentera sedia ada, kerajaan turut meluluskan pembinaan sebanyak hampir 1,000 unit baharu dengan kos keseluruhan berjumlah hampir RM500 juta,” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika membentangkan Belanjawan 2021 dengan tema ‘Teguh Kita, Menang Bersama’ di Dewan Rakyat, hari ini.

Dalam menghargai peranan Jabatan Sukarelawan Malaysia (Rela) yang turut sama membantu dalam memutuskan rantaian jangkitan COVID-19, katanya sebanyak RM153 juta disediakan termasuk bagi menaik taraf kemudahan di pusat latihan bagi mengukuhkan peranan Rela.
