IPOH: Bekas Pengerusi Agensi Berita Nasional (Bernama), Datuk Seri Anuar Zaini dilantik sebagai Pengerusi Majlis Penasihat Ekonomi Negeri Perak.

Menteri Besar, Ahmad Faizal Azumu berkata, kerajaan negeri turut mengumumkan pelantikan enam individu sebagai ahli majlis berkenaan. Mereka ialah Pengasas Utama MK Land Holdings Berhad, Tan Sri Datuk (Dr.) Haji Mustapha Kamal Bin Haji Abu Bakar, Pengarah Urusan KL Kepong Berhad, Tan Sri Lee Ooi Hian dan bekas Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Perak, Datuk Seri Shamsudin Mat Dubi.

Turut dilantik ialah bekas Timbalan Ketua Pengarah Lembaga Pembangunan Pelaburan Malaysia (MIDA), Datuk Dr J. Jegathesan; Timbalan Speaker Dewan Rakyat, Nga Kor Ming dan pengasas bersama IJM Berhad, Gamuda Berhad, Mudajaya Berhad yang juga bekas Setiausaha Master Builder Association Malaysia, Koon Yew Yin.

Menurut Ahmad Faizal, pelantikan tokoh-tokoh yang memiliki pengalaman luas dalam pelbagai bidang itu telah diputuskan dalam Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri di Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan semalam.

“Kerajaan Pakatan Harapan Perak amat mengalu-alukan sumbangsaran dan pandangan semua ahli majlis penasihat ini yang dipengerusikan oleh Datuk Seri Anuar Zaini.

“Antara tujuan penubuhan majlis ini adalah bagi membantu menggalakkan pelaburan ke negeri Perak dengan lebih agresif, sekaligus mewujudkan lebih banyak peluang pekerjaan kepada rakyat tempatan serta merancakkan pertumbuhan ekonomi,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan pada Khamis.

Beliau berkata, kerajaan negeri menaruh sepenuh keyakinan Majlis Penasihat Ekonomi Perak akan memainkan peranan yang signifikan dalam membantu merencana hala tuju baru ekonomi negeri ini.

“Majlis Penasihat ini mampu membawa Perak ke arah pertumbuhan yang mampan, selari dengan perubahan semasa dan masa depan yang bertunjangkan kepada aspirasi merakyatkan ekonomi,” katanya.
