IPOH | International Ipoh Fashion Week (IIFW™) telah mengambil langkah ke hadapan sejak ia dirasmikan dua tahun lalu telah menganjurkan program kemanusiaan untuk mengumpul dana bagi membeli peralatan perubatan untuk Unit Penjagaan Intensif Kanak-kanak (PICU) Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh.

Tidak hanya menjadi platform untuk pereka individu, ia juga membuka peluang untuk kurator muda untuk menentukan bagaimana generasi mereka melihat sesuatu. Dengan matlamat untuk membekalkan dan memperkasakan pereka fesyen tempatan, menyediakan peluang pasaran dan rangkaian untuk memastikan pertumbuhan dan kemampanan perniagaan. IIFW™ mengukir namanya sebagai acara fesyen mewah di Malaysia.

IIFW™ 3.0 akan membantu meningkatkan kedatangan pelancong ke Negeri Perak dan mempamerkan budaya, makanan dan destinasi pelancongan yang popular. Lonely Planet telah menyatakan bahawa Ipoh adalah “destinasi makanan yang kurang dikenali” di Malaysia tetapi ia menjadi lebih menyerlah untuk kafe butik yang semakin berkembang. Tambahan pula dengan kemasukan IIFW™, bandar ini amat dimeriahkan dengan acara fesyen antarabangsa yang ke-3 di Ipoh dari 16 hingga 20 Oktober 2019.

Pertama di Perak, ramai mengikuti jejak langkah IIFW™ dengan membawa pertunjukan fesyen ke Ipoh. Jemputan diterima dari Persatuan Pereka Nepal, Majlis Fesyen Nepal untuk Minggu Fesyen Antarabangsa Nepal dan India Fesyen Minggu Intim di Mumbai, India adalah tanda penghargaan terhadap usaha IIFW™ mendapat pengiktirafan dunia.

Industri fesyen di Malaysia dipengaruhi oleh gabungan sejarah Melayu, Cina, India dan pelbagai budaya asli lain. IIFW™ telah menjadi platform utama untuk menjadikan industri fesyen berkembang dengan objektif dua hala mempamerkan bakat fesyen berasaskan negeri Perak / Malaysia ke seluruh dunia dan pada masa yang sama mengalu-alukan dunia datang melawat ke negeri ini yang diberi jolokan World of Wonders.

“Saya berharap industri fesyen Ipoh terus berani agar generasi muda dapat terus menjadi inspirasi,” kata Pengasas IIFW, Louis Sebastian semasa acara IIFW Raya Hi-Tea Bersama Media di Hotel Weil, Ipoh pada Jumaat.

Acara fesyen terbesar di Ipoh untuk 2019 akan berlangsung dari 16 hingga 20 Oktober 2019. Tentatif program adalah seperti berikut: –

  • WORKSHOP IIFW™ akan diadakan di Level 4, Syeun Hotel Ipoh pada 16 & 17 Oktober 2019.
  • Majlis Makan Malam Glamour dan Glitter IIFW™ RED CARPET akan diadakan di Ballroom, Syeun Hotel Ipoh pada 18 Oktober 2019.
  • Pameran Fesyen Runway IIFW™ akan menampilkan Fesyen Islamik / Modest dan Fesyen Kebudayaan Moden diadakan di Jalan Bandar Lama Ipoh pada 19 Oktober 2019.
  • IIFW™ ’19 akan mempamerkan Fashion Showcase Pret-a-Porter (siap pakai) yang unik, Pameran Fesyen Tema Kasual Sport / Safari / Swimwear / Resort pada 20 Oktober di Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh.

Objektif utama adalah untuk mempamerkan bakat fesyen tempatan kepada dunia dan mengalu-alukan dunia kepada keajaiban di Perak. IIFW™ ’19 menjemput pereka fesyen yang berminat untuk menyertai IIFW Ipoh 2019 dengan berhubung melalui e-mel iifw.perak@gmail.com atau telefon 012-3869265. Tarikh tutup permohonan ialah pada 31 Julai 2019.

IIFW™ ’19 akan meneruskan misi untuk mengumpul dana untuk manfaat Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh. Sasaran adalah untuk membeli peralatan yang sesuai dan mencukupi, pencetus volumetrik, perfusi jarum suntik, 4-6 saluran monitor dan penganalisis darah automatik. Semua sumbangan kewangan akan diumumkan.

IIFW™ ’19 mengalu-alukan organisasi atau individu untuk mengambil mana-mana dari 3 pakej tajaan; Platinum RM30,000, Emas RM20,000, Perak RM10,000 dengan meja individu (10 orang) untuk Makan Malam Gala Amal Pembukaan IIFW ™ pada 18 Oktober 2019 di Ballroom Syeun Hotel Ipoh berharga RM5,000 dan RM3,000.
