Kebimbangan Kononnya Rumah Penduduk Desa Aman Akan Terbenam Tidak Tepat – YB Aziz Bari

IPOH: Kerisauan kira-kira 21 keluarga yang menetap di Persiaran Pegoh Aman 2, Taman Desa Aman kononnya rumah mereka akan terbenam susulan pelaksanaan projek Loji Rawatan Kumbahan Serantau dan Rangkaian Paip Pembentungan di Papan adalah tidak tepat.

Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Tebing Tinggi yang juga Jawatankuasa Pendidikan, Teknologi, Sains, Alam Sekitar Dan Penerangan negeri, YB Dr Abdul Aziz Bari menjelaskan projek yang dikenali sebagai Projek Papan bernilai RM2 bilion itu tidak mengancam keselamatan penduduk terbabit.

Katanya, berdasarkan hasil kajian seorang pakar perunding geologi yang dilantik oleh pihak syarikat pengendali projek kerajaan Persekutuan itu iaitu Mangkubumi Sdn. Bhd mendapati projek berkenaan tidak akan menyebabkan stuktur rumah terbenam seperti yang diandaikan penduduk sebelum ini.

“Saya berpuas hati dengan penjelasan yang diberikan oleh Pengarah Projek Mangkubumi Sdn Bhd, Mohd Hisham Abdul Halim berhubung perjalanan pakej pertama projek itu kepada saya hari ini.

“Saya juga akan mengadakan perjumpaan dengan penduduk terbabit dalam masa terdekat ini untuk menjelaskan perjalanan projek itu yang sebelum ini menimbulkan kebimbangan akan keselamatan mereka,’’ katanya kepada pemberita di Ipoh pada Jumaat.

Aziz juga menjelaskan lawatan beliau ke kawasan tapak projek berkenaan baru-baru ini bukan mahu menekan pihak kontraktor tetapi mahu mencari jalan penyelesaian kerana projek berkenaan dibuat untuk kemudahan rakyat.

Terdahulu Mohd Hisham menjelaskan pemantauan dan pemeriksaan yang dibuat pihaknya memang berlaku mendapan kecil pada jalan di kawasan berhampiran kediaman penduduk tetapi masalah itu telah dapat diatasi.

Katanya, begitu juga keretakan kecil yang berlaku pada dinding rumah milik beberapa penghuni telahpun diperbaiki oleh pihaknya.

Hisham menjelaskan pihaknya akan sentiasa membuat pemantauan sehingga projek itu selesai pada awal tahun depan. Penduduk di taman berkenaan sebelum ini menzahirkan kebimbangan tentang kemungkinan struktur rumah mereka akan terbenam susulan pelaksanaan projek berkenaan.
