IPOH | Laluan di Jalan FT073 Jalan Seputih-Batu Hampar Seksyen 32 dari Pekan Parit ke Pekan Tanjung Belanja dekat sini ditutup susulan kejadian cerun runtuh tengah malam tadi.

Jurutera Daerah Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Perak Tengah Noraida Yusof berkata penutupan itu dilakukan bermula pukul 3 petang ini selepas laluan itu didapati tidak selamat kepada pengguna jalan raya kerana keadaan cerun yang berbahaya.

“Penutupan jalan dibuat sepanjang lebih satu kilometer bermula dari Pekan Parit iaitu selepas simpang Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) sehingga ke Taman Parit Jaya,” katanya dalam kenyataan di sini.

Beliau berkata pengguna jalan raya dari arah Tanjung Belanja atau Kuala Kangsar diminta menggunakan laluan alternatif dengan memasuki Jalan FT072 Jalan Bota Kiri-Tanjung Belanja dan seterusnya ke FT005 Jalan Ipoh-Lumut.

Sementara pengguna dari arah Parit boleh menggunakam laluan alternatif dengan memasuki A17 Jalan Bota Kiri-Parit dan seterusnya ke FT005 Jalan Ipoh-Lumut.

Katanya pihak JKR dan Polis Diraja Malaysia akan berada di persimpangan Pekan Parit dan persimpangan Jalan Belanja-Senggang untuk pemantauan di tapak kejadian.

Sementara itu, Ketua Polis Daerah Perak Tengah Supt Barudin Wariso berkata laluan di Km33, Jalan Parit-Seputih itu terpaksa ditutup susulan terdapat rekahan pada batu (tanah bukit) di tepi laluan jalan menghala ke Seputih.

Beliau berkata kenderaan dari Seputih akan dilencongkan ke Bota Kanan di lampu isyarat Parit, manakala Simpang Senggang dilencongkan ke Layang-Layang Kiri.

Katanya pemantauan secara berkala akan dilakukan oleh anggota dari Balai Polis Parit.
