Seorang lelaki ditemui mati di dalam kenderaan Toyota Fortuner selepas satu kejadian tembak dari jarak dekat menggunakan senapang jenis shotgun di kawasan letak kereta sebuah restoran di Kampung Koh, di Sitiawan, malam tadi.

Seorang saksi berkata, dia melihat suspek dan rakannya sebelum itu minum dengan beberapa rakan yang lain di meja yang sama sebelum suspek mengeluarkan senapang dari kereta Toyota Fortuner dan menembak rakannya.

Sementara itu, polis mengingatkan orang ramai supaya tidak menyebarkan video kejadian yang menunjukkan suspek menembak rakannya itu beberapa kali sebelum meninggalkan lokasi kejadian.

Polis Daerah Manjung melalui laman Facebook membuat kenyataan supaya memadamkan post tersebut untuk menghormati mangsa dan keluarga beliau. Ia mungkin juga mengakibatkan kegusaran dan gangguan emosi kepada orang ramai terutamanya kanak-kanak. Perbuatan ini juga mengganggu siasatan pihak polis.

Pihak SKMM juga akan meminta kerjasama YouTube untuk mengeluarkan video berkaitan dengan seberapa segera.

Untuk makluman, penyebaran gambar dan video sebegini adalah suatu kesalahan di bawah Seksyen 233 Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998. Jika didapati bersalah, denda yang dikenakan tidak melebihi RM50,000 dan satu tahun penjara atau kedua-duanya sekali.
