Pimpinan Persatuan Sepaktakraw Daerah Kerian (PSTDK) pada Sabtu telah menganjurkan majlis bertaaruf (Mengenali) dengan Perak Sepaktakraw Club ( PATC) di Kerian.

Majlis ini dianjurkan bertujuan untuk pimpinan PDSTK berkenalan sambil mengeratkan hubungan dengan PATC, menurut Pengerusi PSTDK, Mohamad Noor bin Hassan.

“Agenda malam ini ke arah mengukuhkan hubungan sesama penggiat sepaktakraw dan berkongsi kepakaran untuk menganjurkan program sepaktakraw di Daerah Kerian.

Kami di PSTDK seronok dan terharu dengan kunjungan PATC dan mengharapkan sesuatu yang baik terhasil dari majlis malam ini,” ujarnya.

Timbalan Presiden PATC, Johari Abu Hassan berkata majlis ini cukup bermakna kerana dapat mengumpulkan semua AJK sepaktakraw Daerah Kerian dan menyatakan pandangan untuk memajukan sukan sepaktakraw di Kerian.

“Ini belum pernah dibuat sebelum ini majlis bersantai bersama sambil bertukar pendapat. PATC bertuah diberi ruang untuk kunjungan ini”, kata Johari dalam ucapan beliau.

Setiausaha Agung PATC, Mohd Syamsi Ab Junid memulakan ucapan beliau dengan memetik ayat dari Surah Al Maidah: “Dan tolong-menolonglah kamu dalam (mengerjakan) kebajikan dan takwa, dan jangan tolong-menolong dalam berbuat dosa dan pelanggaran. Dan bertakwalah kamu kepada Allah, sesungguhnya Allah amat berat siksa-Nya. “

“Perkara yang dibuat oleh kita semua pada malam ini menjurus kepada mendapat redha Allah.

“Kita tiada pertalian keluarga tapi kita bersatu atas alasan sepaktakraw jadi gunalah platform ini menjalin dan mengukuhkan hubungan, bukan mencari jalan meruntuhkan hubungan,” seru beliau.

Menurut beliau lagi, PATC bersedia menjadi pemudah cara bagi program sepaktakraw di Daerah Kerian. PSTDK dan PATC boleh bekerjasama dalam pelbagai perkara terutama pengukuhan ekonomi.

“PATC berbesar hati menjadi pemudah cara dalam program yang akan dijalankan oleh PSTDK tidak lama lagi,” tambah Syamsi.
