TELUK INTAN | Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah berkenan berangkat  merasmikan Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Kampung Bahagia pada Isnin.

Keberangkatan baginda bersama Raja Permaisuri Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim diiringi oleh Raja Di Hilir Perak, Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah.

Hadir sama Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Agama dan Pendidikan Islam, Industri, Luar Bandar dan Pembangunan Usahawan negeri, Asmuni Awi mewakili Menteri Besar; Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri, Zainal Azman Abu Seman dan Ketua Pengarah Pelajaran, Datuk Dr. Amin Senin.

SMK Kampung Bahagia Teluk Intan yang mula beroperasi pada 2 Januari 2018, telah dibina pada September 2015 dan siap sepenuhnya pada 14 Jun 2017 dengan kos sebanyak RM30.1 juta.

Bangunan tiga tingkat sekolah berkenaan yang mempunyai 24 bilik darjah telah diserahkan kepada Kementerian Pendidikan pada 23 Oktober 2017.

Ketika ini, SMK Kampung Bahagia Teluk Intan mencatatkan pendaftaran sebanyak 263 orang melibatkan pelajar tingkatan satu hingga tiga, 23 guru dan lima staf sokongan.
