Tiada keperluan menandatangani surat menyatakan sokongan kepada Presiden PKR, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, kata ADUN Kuala Kurau, YB Yunus Jamhari dalam satu kenyataan media hari ini.

Menurutnya, tindakan sedemikian hanya akan memberikan persepsi yang buruk terhadap PKR dan Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim sendiri.

Beliau juga mengingatkan supaya tidak mengheret pimpinan dan anggota parti demi muslihat peribadi.

“Jangan hancurkan muafakat yang telah ada sejak sekian lama,” katanya.

Yunus yang merupakan orang yang rapat dengan Timbalan Presiden, Datuk Seri Azmin Ali menafikan ura-ura mengatakan kononnya Timbalan Presiden itu akan keluar parti menyertai parti lain.

Sejak beberapa hari lalu heboh cakap-cakap di kalangan anggota parti kononnya beliau akan meninggalkan partinya dan menyertai Bersatu.

“Tiada isu Azmin keluar parti. Rekod cemerlang dalam parti & kerajaan. Tidak pernah tewas dlm pemilihan PKR,” tulis beliau dalam satu kenyataan yang dihantar kepada media hari ini.
