TAPAH: Terengganu berjaya merangkul emas dalam acara angkat berat wanita kategori 48 kilogram (kg) A pada temasya Sukan Malaysia ke-19 (SUKMA XIX) Perak 2018, yang berlangsung di Dewan Merdeka, Majlis Daerah Tapah pada Jumaat.

Wakil Terengganu Nurul Afiqah Muhammad Zamuri muncul juara bawah 48 kg dengan dua pingat emas apabila beliau berjaya mengangkat 81 kg bagi acara snatch dan memperolehi gangsa 75 kg bagi acara clean and jerk.

Pingat Perak dimenangi oleh wakil Sabah Nilcy Tunk yang berjaya mengangkat 80 kg kategori clean manakala gangsa dimenangi Siti Zaleha Yusop yang berjaya mengangkat 75 kg. Pingat disampaikan oleh Menteri Besar Perak Ahmad Faizal Azumu. 

Sementara itu bagi acara angkat berat snatch 48 kg, wakil Pahang Siti Zaleha Yusop Pahang menewaskan wakil pasukan tuan rumah Negeri Perak Nur Syafiqah Athirah Zaridi yang merangkul pingat Perak.

Ahmad Faizal turut berkesempatan meninjau sekitar venue pertandingan dan beramah mesra dengan para peserta dan orang ramai yang hadir.
